today, when class starts, we are given something to watch. the movie takes about 20 minutes and it is about music class and rehearsals. after that, we did our test on jazz music. there are several questions based on our particular style of jazz and most of them are general questions such as what is the definition of jazz music, and chords played for each letter.
i think i did quite well on the test as i can answer most of the question, so i dont think that i will need to improve a thing for next session.

Today, we have our music singing asessment singing the song i got rhythm. i sang after recess and got only 6.5. when it is rounded off, the score will be 7 anyway. somehow, the score was not satisfying enough so i guess i will need to practice singing more at home.
after that, we gather with the group divided by mr herry last session. it is great that we have finally finished the intro of the song. next session, we will proceed with the song.

Today, we gather as a group to combinequuestions from other group from the next class and then try to answer the questions. those questions and answers are then written on a piece of paper.in fact, there is no music theory assessment today. about this, i feel both good and bad. good because there is no nervous session and bad because i have learnt the day before yet it is for no purpose.
the next thing we do is trying to sing the song i got rythm. this song will be used for our singing assessment this term which will be held on Tuesday.

Today is the first music class in term 4 and Mr Herry told us that our assessment on music theory will be on the coming Friday, and it is about the report we made in term 3. i made the report on cool jazz so basicallly my test will be about cool jazz. mr herry told us to make 5 question from our booklet.
next, Mr Herry divide the whole class into 4 groups to perform a song and my team mates were Kezia, Amanda, Jeanne, Budi and Mark. we will perform the song 'fly me to the moon'.
for next session, i will need to learn for the assessment of cool jazz and as well get familiar to the song fly me to the moon so that i can play well in the group performance.

Today is the day we did our music 12 bar blues practical assessment. once the class has started, the teacher told us to go to our music instrumental class in order to practice for a while before the assessment has actually start. the piano, as always start first followed by guitar, violin, and last the woodwind group. i think i did pretty well on the assessment except that in the middle of the song the tempo that i played is a little bit rushing but then once i slowed down, the tempo i a little bit too slow. to sum up, i have some problems for the tempo during the assessment either i didnt practice enough or nervous. next time before asessment, i will need to practice more on the tempo focusing on the tempo that i will be playing, not rushing but also not slow, it has to be just right.

During music class today, Mr Herry is absent so Mr Sadrakh and Mr John became our coach. they told us to play our 12 bar blues improvisation in front of the class and the one whom start first is the piano group followed by guitar, violin and finally woodwind. hearing all the grou play all those songs took 2 sessions, so basically today, there are no music practical class. they also told us that on Friday, 12th of March will be our real assessment, and i just know that for the assessment the left hand must as well play the chord. so, at home, i should focus more on learning how to play my own 12 bar blues improvisation and learn the chord played by the left hand so that on friday i can get a good score.

Today is the day of our music practical assessment playing the All of me song. i think i did quite good although i did a minor mistake on the tempo and i am glad for it. Next time i will need to practice more at home so that i can get use to play on the tempo that the song is supposed to be in.
